"Nice bit of kit and quite easy to use. The recording quality is good on both the HDD and DVD-R, and is seems to handle and play any disk put in it. This misses the function of freeview but if you have a set-top box this is not a big problem, but means it just gets four stars. This makes an ideal second recorder for the bedroom or second tv in the house, especially at this price, but if you are looking for something as your main recorder you will find that it misses some usefull features of the top branded models (but you are paying 5 times as much for them!)"

"Good bit of kit, works fine connected to my Sky box, haven had any problems with dvd media. Only 2 issues are the case size which is quite large, and the fan noise, both of which are minor gripes when you look at the price."
