Description

Bag o’ Crap

Are you ready?? We have got the worst deal ever for you. We are going to ask you to spend your hard earned pounds for a bag o’ crap. For £4.99 we will give you a bag or a box with three crappy items in it. These items are cluttering up our warehouse and we have two or 3 of them per line certainly not enough to list them individually on our website. So we thought we would put three of them in a bag and we would get someone to buy them…. That’s where you come in…

Q1) Is this for real?

A) Yes we are going to sell you a bag o’ crap- but we are going to give you a chance to get your money back. When you receive your bag o’ crap please post a a video of you opening up your bag of crap and utilising it and we will pay £50.00 for every video we feature on our website. The Title of the video must include the words “bigpockets.co.uk ” and “christmas bag o' crap” we will also pay an additional £200.00 for the best Video once we have sold out of all our bags o’ crap. Please see sample video below. Post your review in the review section of this product. We recommend using youtube for any video uploads.

Q2) What if I get my bag of crap and I don’t like it.
A) Dohh… what do you expect. Thou shall not expect thy crap to be especially nice. If we were unloading a lot of really cool stuff, we’d call them “Bags O’ Really Cool Stuff,” but we don’t’

Q3) If I don’t like my crap can I get my money back.
A) No don’t be silly, if you buy a bag of crap and you don’t like it you are experiencing what marketing people call buyers remorse. Deal with it for Pete's sake it’s under a fiver. You could have a go at multiplying your measly £
4.99 investment by over forty fold by making video and hosting it on you tube and we will link it in the reviews section for a bag of crap. Please refer to Q1.

Q4) What if the crap my mate buys is better than my crap.

A) Nobody said life was fair. Are you building your own barracks with your bare, broken hands in a remote Soviet Gulag? No, you’re dissatisfied with a purchase you freely chose to make even though it was plainly labelled “Crap.” Have some perspective.

Q5) Do I have any guarantee that the crap I buy will be worth more then £4.99
A) The only comment we will make is in our opinion it’s worth a lot more then a measly £5

Note: Thou shall take a moment to consider whether you might be better off just not buying this crap. Buyer’s remorse is just a click too far away!

Note: this offer is a Fukubukuro

We Pay £50 for every video featured on our site!

Our 1st £50 winner!

Our 2nd £50 winner

Our 3rd £50 winner

Our 4th £50 winner

Our final £200 winner (Until next time)

"My BOC was delivered today with a DVD-R blank media order I placed so got free delivery....
Well the bag or should I say Box took me and the delivery driver 20mins to get into my house.
When I opened the box I had a pleasent suprise to find a pack of 4 AAA batteries which I can now replace the dead ones in my TV remote...good start....next I found a 10 CD wallet which I also require as I have just coppied the gold box set of Twin Peaks...Hmmm 2 things I needed....The last item was a bit of a let down, the reason for such a big box was now apparent as I also received a Black Leather Massage chair with built in CD player This one...We have just purchased a new chocolate brown leather suit and this Black Leather Massage Chair does not match at all..it will have to go back....Well Im disappointed I spent £2.99 and only can use 2 of the items...So I feel I have been ripped off...damn this website!"

I know my money would be better spent on shoes and food for my child but something inside me demands that I place an order, so I have.

I will be climbing atop the nearest, highest sand dune to perform the ceremony of opening my bag of crap, hopefully complete with sunset and howling winds.

This could be a focal point of my thirties."
  Graham, (Southport)

"So here is the deal 60+ bags o crap at £3 bringing in £180 so we collectively part pay for the £500 and clear BIGPOCKETS junk/poo/crap from their warehouse!!. However 1: genius marketing and very funny 2:how often do we buy other crap for £3 such as Big macs or other crap and feel bad after buying it - at least we know its CERTIFIED CRAP - BIGPOCKETS can you at least throw in a tshirt so i can brand you -BAG O CRAP HERE I COME"
  LUKE DONALDSON, (London)

"Hello i am for like this and its i want to buy i am like crap from Bigpockets - empty your crap on me and i pay for big cash for you maybe 1 day i too get crap and sell it on a crappy AUCTION WEBSITE - No that is yes already happening oh CRAP"

"What do I claim for if my bag o crap gets lost in transit. Also does this crap need to be supervised by a reposible adult, as my wife tell me that the 0 is missing from my age of 50."
  John Sutherland, (Northants)

"Well, it would be fun to buy as a lucky dip bag for fun, but the £5.99 delivery charge puts me off."
  John, (Newent)

"This is my opinion is a really solid offer.

They are not really pushing it hard. They are not even using the papers. But relying on word of mouth, from customers who are flush with £3.

Yep defnitely a soft sell, with no effort required to convince us to go for it !!

Yep no pushing or shoving, everyone will get one, sooner or later!

BigPockets you get 5/5 for not farting around but getting straight to it!

"
  StoolPidgeon, (London)

"I'm very surprised that this offer has been a complete hit. I agree with John from Newent that £5.99 for delivery of something you have no idea what it is can be a bit much.
Delivery should be FREE considering we are helping you clear out the warehouse so to speak. Apart from this offer BigPockets are very good and I have had No Problems in the past. THANKS BigPockets. "
  James Johnson, (LONDON)

"am I goig to get fish as well??? please!"
  Iain, (Perhshire)

"Hang on, we get a date with that hot chick if we win! I want that rather than the £500"
  Howard, (London)

"Got mine through today, in it I found:

1)2 DVD RAM and 1 DVD-R
2)A car charger
3)A 512MB MP3/Radio.

Well worth the money! "
  Paul, (Huddersfield)

"I really did get a box of crap, I got a box with some orange peel, a yorkie wrapper was going to complain but the hot chick in the box had been hungry while she was in transit. Got to go as she needs someone to scrub her back…. L8rs"
  Gav, (Bournemouth)

"someone has to pay for delivery, why not just order some other things to make it worth while. i had to order a webcam to make the video with. lol"
  Adam, (Brum)

"See us opening The Pope's very own box of (holy) crap!

1x Car power adapter thing.
1x 1Gb SD card (labelled as 2Gb)
1x Panasonic 1.4Gb DVD-RAM
1x 256Mb Verbatim Compact Flash card

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmdVIXdy88o"
  Andy, (on the bus)

"I ordered 3 bags of crap and got an email from bigpockets saying that they had to reducer my order to one. This is what i got. 1x scart cable1x lolly with a scorpion embedded in it - I am being serious if you want to see a picture of it go to the front page and type in edible in the search box. Also got 2 pen drives 1 256 Meg and a 1 gig. – All in all worth it for £2.99 – managed to get free delivery as I bought some discs :)"
  James, (Portsmouth)

"I think using a hot chick is very sexist what about a hot bloke for all the girls?

Bigpockets note: Could one of our customers please create a sample video and send us a link with a hot bloke and we will put it on the website. We cant do it ourselves as everyone that works here is not very hot. Please upload your video to youtube and send the link to oliver@bigpockets.co.uk. If we use your video we will give you £50.00 to spend on the website."
  Nicola, (Barnsley)

"Shame there's not 10 star rateing.
The Bag O Crap is well worth it, not just for the surprise factor but the contents which are worth way more than £2.99."
  Vapour, (Northumberland)

"Genius offer from the BP's Team! Tempted to place an order - my goldfish died recently so could do with a replacement :-) "
  Tom Yates-Taylor, (Dublin)

"Pros: BOC was delivered with much speed, and with a nice man who actually brought it to my house.

It contained a wonderful array of things for £2.99 - a 512mb SD card, a car charger for an unidentified electrical item (with a very accommodating plug at the end though), a blank tiny DVD that I can use to pretend I am a giant, and another 2gb SD card.

Cons: There was no bag. These things arrived in a box. I would glady exchange the goodies that were inside said box for a paper bag with a question mark on it as per the illustration. This I would use to transport my lunch or other mystery items to give me a sense of enigma and depth to friends/family etc.

In fact, I may sell the items that are worth well more than £2.99 on a generic auction site just to fund the paper bag and create my new Riddler style persona."
  Graham, (Southport)

"1st video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYdNgBD4oX4

Thanks DAN!"
  Dan, (Unknown)

"Well mine arrived and all I can say is brilliant

I received
1) A car charger 12V to 9V .. one for the gadget drawer
2) 2 x DVD-R 1.4Gb and 1 x DVD-RW 1.4gb
3) An mp3/radio player

I am well chuffed with the mp3/radio combo and the dvd-r will be used, the charger ... well we'll see about that one :)

THANK YOU BIGPOCKETS"
  StoolPidgeon, (London)

"Here is the full review

http://samsite999.blogspot.com/2008/03/big-pockets-bag-o-crap-review.html

Well here we are. And I actually got around to doing it. bigpockets.co.uk have a bag of crap special deal on! as I was ordering a hard drive any how I thought what the hell! there is also a price draw for people who review it. So here is it!

http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/

Well I can here you all screaming, what did you get!! (or more than likely why am I reading this crap)
Well here is the box, A nice small package. The delivery man chose not to drop kick this about (probably because it wasn’t marked with fragile!)

and im going to open it now

Any how. I got a broken USB drive! (not so good)

Some DVD-RW, And some DVD-RAM's

A scart lead,

and finally a 200gb SATA HDD!..... I wish. this is a drive for a cheep file server I’m building

the usb drive is going for further inspection. it could be the laptop playing up. The DVD-RW and the RAM's are actually quite useful for me. I never got any before because I didn’t like what they were trying to charge for them in the shop, but i never had a need to justify buying them in bulk of the net

the scart lead.....Will make a original if some what unusual sturdy cable to tie the gate shut to shop it swinging in the wind

and that’s the review

thanks bigpockets"

  kevin, (Belfast)

"Lord help me, I bought the last one.

In addition to the one I already bought.

This is verging on an addiction. I don't need any of this stuff really.

I think I'll need whatever comes in this one though. Yes, I'll NEED it. Definately need it, need it.

Brrrzzzzzzz. Help."

"Just had mine, thanks lol

1 x Scart cable (you must have a lot of these)
1 x 8Gb Flash drive (amazing! this must be worth £20!)
1 x 8cm rw disc (WTF?)"
  Phil Cars, (My PC)

"Well, got mine today and had added value... 4 items (well, 6 but I've grouped 3 together).

Samsung YP-T55 MP3 Player, looks quite nice, will probably be used as a backup to my phone.
3 1.4gb DVDs(a -R,-RW and -RAM), should find a use for them.
1 Random Cigarette Lighter Charger.
And the most ironic (in my eyes)... the manual for the DIY PVR (which I bought a while ago).

Was it worth £9... probably not, would I do it again in the future if big pockets did the same thing... probably."
  Jon Bradford, (Bath)

"Got a can of CROCODILE CURRY, a geek tshirt and a car charger thing 5 out of 5 stars"
  Chris, (London)

"Can I get mine with a blonde chick please instead of a brunette - thanks - xxx"
  Gerry, (London Town)

Mike Wood, (Quarry Bank, West Midlands)

"Awesome idea! I order mine this week. Arrived today. Got 10 DVD cases, 50 DVD-Rs (datawrite too) and a samsung mp3 player.

Excellent value. Unfortunately I ordered some blank dvds with the order, so I've loads now!

Brilliant idea. I'm going to order another I think!"
  Gavman, (London)

"Oh baby, I got package number 2. And this one was an unusually large shape.

By the time I find a knife to open the box with I am whipped into some kind of mystery induced frenzy. Everyone around me appears more attractive, and I suddenly want to participate in extreme sports to try and capture this sense of elation.

Onto the box. I open it, and in the process develop a nervous tick.

My my, this is excellent news. It contains 100 printable blank CD's, a CD wallet, and a pair of foldable Thompson headphones that appear rather good.

Now, I have entered the comedown stage. I have no more parcels to open, nothing on the way, and as such, nothing to look forward to in my life.

It says 452 in stock. My wallet is in the drawer next to me. I have a spare £2.99 don't I? And this is cheaper than smoking.

Ordered no 3."
  Graham, (Southport)

"Third of the bags to end up in this office...

7 clear plastic DVD cases, a fabric CD case thing and a set of Bluetooth headphones, which seem to retail around the £30-£45 mark. I *almost* ordered a Sumvision handsfree kit with this order, so i'm glad i didn't now. All hail the crapbags!

Excellent - cheers!"
  Andy, (on the bus)

"another bag of crap opening :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3VeXN5XxgQ"
  Andy, (Andy)

"Outstanding....

mp3 player, CD's and car mobile charger, total result, and all for 3 quid. And all those moany gits asking about value for money too ha ha...

So, next up, I gotta submit my video.

Thanks BP. Excellent service and a brilliant idea. :)"
  Dave Hollis, (Northampton)

"Received mine today. I received 3 x dvds, 9v car charger and 1 samsung 512mb mp3 player. Well worth the money, would buy again!"
  Paul, (London)

"A car charger thingy 3 8cm discs and a 512mb mp3 player. Well worth it I think. Great idea. Bit dissapointed that it was a box though and not a bag. I was looking forward to a bag with a bag of crap wrote on it. I could have walked my dogs with my daughter to school and dropped there crap in the bag and everyone would no I was being enviromentally friendly. I can't really stuff there crap in a box people would just think I'm totally mentally."
  adewolves, (wolverhampton)

"Either Bigpockets picked this especially for me or I was lucky

Some camcorder media, and I have the right camcorder.

A car 12v to 9v power converter, amd I have just the job for it.

An MP3 player with FM Radio (Samsung) great sound, and the radio works even though I am surrounded by computers.

Many thanks

Dave"
  Dave Marsh, (Andove)

"It's 12:00, and I am BOC-less.

As I sit here revolving on my office chair every noise outside could be the nice courier man with my latest BOC. I am so addicted I have now lowered myself to coming on to here just to read peoples reviews.

I know that this time, he'll bring me something amazing - an inflatable house, a speedboat, a Fire Engine, something like that.

Hold on....I can hear a van in the driveway.
"

I rip into the parcel in anticipation, my hand dives into the box
I grab the first bit of Crap a MP3 Player
I dive into the box again a Car charger lead
I dive into the box again a headset
I break out into a sweat now a DVD RW appears
then a DVD RAM
then a DVD R
I cannot take any more of this tension

"i have order crap and guess what they send me.

  Bhav, (Walsall)

"I feel dirty. Like an addict in a run down flat in a nasty area.

My desk is covered in packaging paraphanalia and evidence of a hurried opening.

These last 2 hits weren't as good as the first. Maybe if I up my dose and go for 3 bags o crap next time it'll feel better.

This time I got:

About 1000 of the 9v DC car leads
Hamburger CD case (inedible)
2 webcams
1,000,000 cd wallets
Blank DVD-R's and DVD+R's
An empty feeling inside.

I keep telling myself I can stop, but I see that there are still some bags left in stock. It can't hurt to have just one more can it?

"Well, I'm a bit disappointed... I received my BOC today and was expecting a bag so when there was a box, I figured the bag was inside and opened it.

No, the box was the BOC and I missed my opportunity to film it! *grr*

As a result, I am buying another and filming every envelope I open from today until I receive the BOC to ensure I capture the moment of rapture!

In my BOX o' Crap was a handful of car cigarette lighter power leads (appear to be 3.5v), a scart lead, and a Mikomi M6217 webcam.

Best 2 quid I ever spent."

"Fantabulous!

What more could I want to go with my DVD recorder than 50 blank dvd's.

I also got a big chunky Philips HDD based MP3 player which has been donated to my dad because he doesn't have the dexterity for the small modern flash based MP3 players.

I was mystified by the 6 car chargers I got, I have no idea what they go with! It looked like BP have used them for packaging!

Excellento BigPockets - I will play the gamble again when they come back in."
  Michael Place, (BRIDLINGTON)

  stacey, (london)

"Hmm, my second BOC isn't nearly as good as the first.

5 car chargers for an unknown device , a CD wallet, 6 clear DVD cases and a Skype-compatible VOIP phone.

Probably not worth the £8.99 (if you include postage) that I paid, but I may get one more when they're back in stock."
Bigpockets Comments: "5 car chargers for an unknown device , a CD wallet, 6 clear DVD cases and a Skype-compatible VOIP phone."

Not worth £2.99 ?????????
  Chris McPhie, (Wakefield)

"WOW! Thanks BigPockets, A tub of 50 DVD+R discs, Two car adaptors AND a complete and WORKING Archos 20Gb AV320 mp3/4 recorder-player.
Now to convince my wife that I only spent a few pounds! Thanks again."
  Ray Clear, (Sutton)

"My first BoC arrived today while i was at work, and my wife couldnt wait till i got home to open it :

7 Car chargers of various outputs (believe it or not, those are actually useful to me)
4Gb Achros Gmini mp3 player. Broken :-(
50 Datawrite Yellow 16x DVDR :-D

So, one bit of useless crap, but plenty of useful stuff!

You won't believe what else i ordered though (BP can confirm..) 2 Scart leads! Was really dreading a box full!

Anyways, 2nd box should be along tomorrow soo lets see what that brings.."
  David, (Shetland)

"got my bag of crap today i got a cd holder still wrapped 6 car chargers 8 dvd cases and 100 cdrs well worth the money
"
  phil hanley, (presteigne)

"- 7 car charger leads
- CD case
- Homemix CDJ-1 DJ Sound System!! My wife thought I'd gone mad!
Unbelievable value!!"
  Steve, (Staffs)

"This was a great bit of fun. I won't tell you what I got, you'll have to watch the video for that, but suffice it to say it was probably worth a fiver. If I'd have got anything really cool it would have got five stars. I'll have to see what else I want from here so I can drop another £3 on a second bag when they come back in stock. Youtube video link (crank the volume):

  statto, (west brom)

"Thought I'd let the world know what was in mine, so here goes. A pack of 50 DVD+R, branded RiDisc; not one but three car voltage adaptors with 9V output; and an Archos XS100 MP3 player (without earphones). The DVDs could come in handy, although I prefer to use TDK. Can't imagine using the adaptors as I have no 9V gizmos. The MP3 player had a faulty micro hard drive. So, as I got it post free with some other items, I reckon I did O.K."
  Greg Aspland, (Bury St Edmunds)

"Need more Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's seven boxes of Crap I've bought now seven. Count'em.
The list is as follows.

1. Three Mikomi Webcams (with microphone no less)
2. a Dvd Re-Writer
3. 100 x CD-r's
4. 200 x DVD-r's/DVD+r's
5. 2 Panasonic 2gb MP3 players - working (nice)
6. Unbranded 512mb mp3 player (working)
7. Ipod Shuffle 512mb - thoroughly broken (maybe I can fix it)
8. 3 x mini DVD-r's
9. 2 x 512mb mini-sd cards with adapters.
10. 12 DVD cases.
11. About 50 random car chargers.
12. A lot of cardboard and filling material.
But the high wore off as soon as the last box was open. Father christmas hand dumped in the proverbial stocking and run. Now what!?
More crap please Bigpockets. NEED MORE CRAP."
  Hammad, (Surbiton)

"I am also very happy with what I got
- iPod Shuffle 512MB
- Datasafe CD-R 100 discs
- Mikomi PC Web Cam USB1.1
- 2 x Auto 12V->9V adaptor

Shuffle did not work initially. But after reflashing F/W, it started to work just fine. I am happy with my first genuine iPod.
The Japanese name 'Fukubukuro' is a more accurate description than 'Bag ofCrap'! "
  Naoto, (Edinburgh)

"Despite the best efforts of the delivery company, I managed to get hold of my order and my precious BOC. Was going to do a video, but ended up opening it in the delivery company car park.

2 x car lighter chargers, 9v 1800mA Whoo hoo!

2 x old scart adapter plugs (old beacuse not all pins present)

A cake box of 50 Tuff Disk DVD+R, 16x speed, very nice, combined with my real order, I won't need any DVD's for 5 years.

Archos AV320 20GB Hard disk MP3/4 player and accessories (inc. headphones and TV recorder thingy), but no charger (5-6V, 1200mA max) Found multi-charger at home, charged OK, but discovered the Archos had a faulty screen -no backlight. So Googles for info, opened up the Archos, found the broken wire(pinched between screen and shell)and soldered. Now have a working 20GB MP3/4 player and the thrill of knowing I fixed it myself.

Excellent value. I wouldn't have ordered one unless I was ordering other stuff and won't be ordering another. I've had my fun, I've had enough crap from Big Pockets!"
  Froggy, (Coventry)

"I did my my main order from big pockets and also found a nice free delivery item which was 50p cheaper than the delivery would have been. So bonus already.

Wait , whats this... a bag o crap... hmmm... £2.99 ... ok , why not its got to be worth the 3 quid just for the excitement factor... rofl.

I get my delivery the next day and cant wait to open by box o crap.
I put my main order aside and sit down to open my crap.i was right , the 3 quid was worth the excitement alone..lol.

Look at my video to see what i got in my box of crap.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VeF74tBHOMc

Nice 1 big pockets , well worth the money , great marketing ploy , and i will definatly order another pile of crap next time i place an order.

Thank you.

5 stars to you."
  Darren Eaton-Brown, (Dover)

"For my 1st BOC I was NOT disappointed :) I received:

5 x dual DVD cases.
5 x 9v 1800mA Car Adaptors
1 x CD wallet (holds 24 CD's)
1 x Mikomi M6217 Webcam + mic

I will by another BOC when they come back in stock, the surprise of what could be inside is worth the money alone! :)

Thanks bigpockets!"
  Chris M, (London)

"Not bad for a bag-o-crap (but they're possibly running out of the good stuff):
200 x x8 DVD-Rs
6 x car chargers
6 x double DVD cases
1 x CD/DVD carry case

http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h139/alimac87/dsc00325.jpg"
  Alasdair Maclean, (Glasgow)

"My Box O' Crap contained:-

1 X VOIP Phone
1 X 24 DVD Case

Yep, sure I'll get some use out of them..

Then 2 X bloody car charger things! Guess i can tie them together to make a skipping rope or maybe some nunchakus.

I'm going to get one more Bag O' Crap, if I get anymore chargers however I'm going to burn them along with a Virgin at the annual British Legion get together!"
  Captain Jack, (Whitstable)

"got mine today

1)5 car charger things
2)cd carry case
3) and the best thing a CD dJ SYSTEM its awsome nothing wrong with it either

  karl mckeown, (blackpool)

"Well my girlfrend got me one.

We got, Data Safe management system, 3 incar charges not sure what for, and a cd case.

Well happy!"
  Luke Bailey, (Chichester)

"Well done Big Pockets for exceeding my expectations. I thought you'd made up the reviews where folks got brilliant value for their £2.99, I was expecting little else than a box of shredded cardboard.
But - you did it, you amazed me. First bag o crap contained no less than 6 of the wonderful 9v car charger things that nobody seems to know what to do with, there was also a pack of 50 DVD-R's in a slightly damaged case, but very useable AND a Ricoh DVD/CD RW drive! I reckon I can find the manual online and already have plenty of spare leads to connect it.
Second bag of crap had a further 10 of the car charger thingies, 6 plastic DVD cases, a CD wallet and a (Argos!) USB webcam, still sealed.
I just placed my third order in a week with BigPockets - and the bag o crap is sold out - darn! I must be addicted already.
AND I found a use for the car charger thingies. Carefully cut both ends off and drop them into a black bin liner, use the remaining cable to tie the bag, place bag in dustbin - safe in the knowledge that it's not going to come undone so easily."
  Gordon Sharpe, (Doncaster)

"Excellent idea, will be getting another one of these.

WARNING TO BIGPOCKETS: If you send me a bag of worm chips, there will be nowhere you can hide...."
Bigpockets Comments: Please put a note with your order saying do not send worm crisps...
  Chris, (Bucks)

"I can't express my excitment, anticipation and - having read some of the reviews - apprehension as I waited for the arrival of the Big Pockets Box'O'Bag'O'Crap.

We saved the Grand Opening until today, and the video we've posted on youtube is genuinely the first view we had of what arrived.

We got:
A little 640x480 webcam
A stack of 10 4xCD-RWs
A stack of 25 dual-layer DVD+Rs
A 9V car power supply thing.

Here's the official video (sorry about the quality - both technical and content!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWJcuyvNK_A
"
  james (Mr Spong), (Luton)

" The anticipation had me almost climbing the walls for three days.

My Bag (box) of crap arrived!!!

Upon opening it, I discovered the ubiquitous sealed webcam with microphone. Followed closely by 5 clear dvd cases. The final item was seventeen identical car charger things. I called the Guinness book of world records but they said wait, there may be more.

Am so excited. April seems so far away. Can't wait!

If anyone out there knows what all these chargers fit, help me sleep at night. Enlighten me (and probably many others)."
  Peter, (Northfleet)

  martyn, (pboro)

"Pretty good for crap as crap goes, yes I did get a car charger for ??? but its a 9V converter so may come in handy. Camcorder DVD pack looks handy and the 512 Samsung MP3 player has already been put into use. Thought I got a good bargin, which I did, but some of the others got absolute belters!!"
  Neil, (Hull)

"Well parcel 2 arrived and I got
A sealed web cam

"This is a brill idea. when they come back in stock, i will deffo order one.

can i say to the ungrateful guy that got the leather armchair with cd player..... i'll trade my phone charger thingie for it if i get one :-P"
Bigpockets Comments: Bigpockets comment: If you want to be sure to get a Box o Crap make sure you are on the website at 11.59 on the 4th of April as we expect them to sell out very fast.
  cwed123, (Manchester)

"How can you review crap?
Well, quite easily thanks!!
Trade descriptions act here folks....'twas a box, not a bag!!
Anyway, contents were...
50 Ridata 8X dvd-r's
2 car chargers for unknown objects (had loadsa these then did you??)
hamburger cd case
another cd case
6 clear (good quality) double dvd cases.
All in all a bl**dy good deal for prospective crap contents!
I'll be back for more, but please...NO MORE BL**DY CAR CHARGERS!!
Whoever thought this one up needs a full time job at your place!!
WELL DONE TO ALL AT BIGPOCKETS!"

"I am having a boot fair soon and thought, this could be useful. I got a few dvd cases (about 5 or 6), a 512 mb flash and a scart cable. Can easily make a profit, so it was well worth the 2.99. Shouldn't have checked out the site to see what other people got 'cause now my crap looks like crap. Oh well. Can't wait for the 4th April. I still have my boot fair to collect for! Thanks BP. Great idea."
  Sadeyes57, (South East)

"I got a Toshiba XE-1 HD-DVD Player. What a rip off!

"I HAVE JUST SPENT A FEW HOURS LAUGHING AT THESE REVIEWS KICKING MYSELF BECAUSE I DIDNT GET ONE. ROLL ON APRIL 4TH I'LL BE FIRST IN THE QUEUE BUT IT SEEMS THAT THE CAR CHARGERS MIGHT HAVE ALL BE GONE THEN AH PITY "
  MARGARET, (BURNLEY)

"I bought two of these Bags, all in all I got 100 DVD-R Pack, 10 DVD cases, 15 Car Chargers, 3 Webcams and 3 CD Wallet Cases, can't til it comes back again, this time I'm going after 5 bags of crap! :P "
  Ajmel, (Manchester)

"I suggest a new competition, Best use of a car charger! "
  Giro, (Dorking)

"I have not purchased one, have to wait until this Friday. My comment is that the name should be changed to Bag au Crap. This way is sounds posh."
  Jamie, (Datchet)

"HOW HAPPY AM I?!.....

"Best Sales pitch and fantastic cost effective advertising ploy I guess the person that thought this one up should get a nice big Pay rise. Heres hoping my bag of crap is as good as the best.:-)"
  Mish Moneypenny, (Sunny Dunny)

"So what is the carbon footprint of this bag of crap?

If the contents come from china that means your bag of crap has clocked about 20,000km before being shipped to your house."
  Snapey, (Worcestershire)

"Rated hotest deal on hotdeals UK, dont see what all the fuss is! But reading these reviews has had me in stitches, well it suppose it worth the risk for £2.99. Cheers BP"
  Luke, (Glasgow)

"just ordered my bag o crap and the anticipation is killing me!!ive given it five stars, just becouse i think its a genius idea. i might reduce it down to one if i get a s**t load of them car charger thingymebobs!!! heres hoping i get lucky and hit the jackpot!! woohoo!

"Omg this is insane

3.XBOX 360 OMG!!!1
i want more"
  jerry jim, (london)

"Ordered mine at 1.30 Saturday morning. Still waitng for it to show up in my account to say it is on it's way. I did receive 2 confirmation of my order emails. I'm so excited and don't want to leave the house just incase it arrives while I am not here and they take it back. Not really interested in the other items I ordered. I got a surround sound system as well as other things in my last bag.
I am giving it 5 stars just for the suspense value"
Bigpockets Comments: Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday when the couriers are back to work and should be delivered on the following working day (Tuesday).
  Janet, (Leeds)

"2 MORE. Yes. 2 more on order. Thisll be 5 I think. I dont know any more because my hat, fashioned out of CD sleeves and generic 9 volt car chargers prevents me from seeing my bank statement.

These ones will be opened in a spectacular fashion though. I may dress up. I may stand in the sea. I just dont know anymore.

This is wrong - Im sure there is some kind of religious implication to buying all these boxes o tat. Dont know how though - is it gambling? Cant be, because you know not to expect anything, but then you half expect EVERYTHING.

Must dash, I can hear the Molluscs in the East Wing grumbling for their Dauphinoise.

Postie? I hear Postie. Bad Postie, no bag o crap.

Wibble."
  Graham, (Southport)

"I've just ordered a BOC - I can't wait now. There surely can't be any more car-chargers left LOL"
  Annie, (Gosport)

"After reading about this last time I NEEDED one too, and settled on three!I ordered them on Friday, after trying for ages as everyone else needed their fix of (box)bag o' crap.

I am so excited, and I'm scared to leave the house, or the door for that matter incase i happen to miss the delivery!

I have given it 5 stars as i think this is a great advertising idea, and always leaves people 'needing' more!
I'm so excited to see what i get, hope i get some of those charger thingys! Think i will have to change this to a 1 star if not!
Dunno if i'll be able to hold off opening it long enough to film it though. It feels like all my christmas' have come at once!

Thanks BigPockets - im sure i will love receiving your crap!"
  Zoey, (Leeds)

"This is genius!!! Can't wait to get home to open my BOC. Bigpockets staff you should put 5 golden tickets in the BOC for a tour invite of the BigPockets warehouse :) "

Aluminium 240 cd case
Photo printing paper

Didn't play delivery as it was an addon to an order for a free delivery item, and sold the headphones for £1.50. All in all well worth it, thanks Bigpockets!"

"Woohoo!!

"Ok. Got my second bag of crap today. Little disappointed with this one.
In my bag which is acutally an impressionist cause it looks just like a cardboard box I find the following.

A Mikomi Pc Camera (same as I got last month. Wow what are the chances of getting 2 of only the 3 available)

6 12v car charger things (Hang on I got one last time. F*%k me they are breading.)

6 White DVD cases.
And a purple black clothy case.

Well I would like to say that I'll get another Bag O'Crap but how many Car chargers and Pc cameras does one man need.

Big Pockets your still the best thou. I'll still buy my dvds etc from you.

  David, (London)

"Got my BOC this morning. When ordering i also ordered 100 dvd's so got free postage. I got a bum deal on the crap but the value comes from the expectation. I got 6 double dvd cases, 2car chargers that seem to be for some form of unknown pda and a voip handset.
Cant wait until they are back in stock, I fear after just 1 hit i may have become an addict. Damn you Bigpockets for your marketing ploys!!!!!
Although i think you shouldnt tell us when they will be in stock and just do it on a random basis. That way you keep people checking your website more often aswell."
  Baldy, (Brighton)

"Received my box today, and was very very afraid when it came and it was only about 5x2x2
Opened it up, it contained the 25pack DVD's I ordered seperately, and hundreds of foam packaging material.
Bag of crap or missing bag of crap ? Seeing as I received an invoice in the box for the bag of crap, I'm gonna say worst bag of crap ever but will happily change if Bigpockets actually send my actual bag of crap"

"Fantastic.....
I got my Bag of Crap on Tuesday with the DVD's I ordered. They came in one box while my BoC arrived in a 200 CD storage case box.
When I opened the box I found a... 200 CD storage case!!! (Great so when I burn the DVD's I've got a case to put them in). A couple of single DVD's (extra DVD's always come in handy), I got 4 pairs of ear phones (now how many times do you lose your earphones? so a couple of extra pairs always come in handy) and then at the bottom of the case was an 20gb archos media player (Nice of you to give me something to plug my earphones into...)
So all in all, I think I got more than my £2.99 worth BoC.
T H A N K S G U Y S!!!"

I'll be telling everyone I know how much fun I've been having with my bag o' crap. Can't wait for the next one... but I'm sure that one of these days we'll all be sent out a bunch of empty DVD cases.   just-me, (Stevenage)

"Did everyone get the Aluminium storage case! Mine was:

1x Aliminium CD storage case
200 blank DVDs (not sure what type yet as they have no label!)
Some photo paper
A pair of headphones that look a bit rushy (which is technically an extra item so not bothered)

I was pretty chuffed when I got it but reading some of the others it looks like I may have been down the lower end. Still well worth £3 and I haven't seen one posted yet that isn't!"
  Jonny, (Canterbury)

"Disappointed!!! No car adaptor! But I did get an aluminium dvd storage case, a scart lead, VOIP phone, and a set if iPod earphones. All in all...fantastic; but next time can you change it to Bag o' Crappy Car Adaptors and then I'd be sure of getting one? Can't wait for another sale."
  Paul Clegg, (Oldham)

"I can't give it 0 stars, I know it's a lucky dip but I got absolute crap. I got ONE item, a marshmallow making kit, which would have been great if it had any of the sachets to make the marshmallows.
Complete Crap.
At least my boyfriend got a VoIP phone and batteries.
NOT WORTH £3"
  A Liff, (Derby)

"WHOAAA!!!! CRAP THIS AIN'T!!!.
I just got my B.O.C, and I got :
1 x 240cd disc box, 1 x scart cable, 50 dvd-r, 1 x set headphones, 3 dvd cases and a voip phone!!!. All for £2.99!!!. Brilliant!!!. Thanks BigPockets, its a winner!!!! "
  Paul Leftwich, (Richmond Surrey)

"fantastic wasnt pleased with my first one now i need more lol
240 alliminuim storage case.
aigo headphones
scart lead
2 dvd cases that hold 4 discs
a spindle of 50 full faced printible dvd-r discs

  simon, (oswestry)

"I also got a marshmallow maker without any marshmallow mix. But I did also get 10 DVD-Rs and 25 sheets of photo paper. Compared to most other people, it doesn't seem great."
  Marc, (Bury)

"I gotpretty much the same as everyone else it seems. There was a pair of earphones, 50 DVD-R's, a VOIP phone, 2x AAA batteries, a scart lead & 2 DVD cases all in a big aluminium box that holds 240 cd's/dvd's. Thanks big pockets, I shall definitely order again:)
You Tube video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIR1X7xUQJ0"
  Annie, (Gosport)

"A couple of packs of batteries
A couple of packs of 6x4 hoto paper

AND......

A Marshmallow Maker(and according to the box the expiry date for the contents is 2005)

Thank you Big Pockets, it really is a big bag of crap.

"
  Chris, (Newcastle)

"Well my first BOC came today and BP really must have scrapped the bottom of the barrel for me! All i had was-
1 pack of AA batteries
1 pack of photo paper 20 sheets 6 by 4
1 pack of glossy paper A4 size
and 1 marshmallow maker.
"
  craig a, (dudley)

"Well I just received my BOC finally. Was really hoping for the 240CD aluminium case that everyone seems to be getting but alas, I didn't get one. I recieved:
1x 20 pack of 6x4 photo paper (ok)
1x Scart Lead (naff)
4x AAs (ok)
2x AAAs (ok)
1x fully working, complete Thomson Lyra 512mb splashproof MP3 player (actually pretty good and will be useful for working out rather than using my Ipod!)
1x empty tape roll with the remaining tape all stuck together aswell as other packing waste!
1x Huge amounts of yet more packaging

So I guess I got my box of Crap (though im surprisingly pleased with the MP3 player), but then I can't complain, after all crap is exactly what I ordered."
  Nick, (Sussex)

"I feel like I have been abused during my transaction. After reading here and seeing what some people had recieved I was looking forward to my package but got home to be extremely underwhelmed.

Some A5 photo paper, 10 DVD-R's and an awesome Voip internet phone that when plugged in takes away the output of sound to any other device which is extremely UNHELPFUL.

If I do by chance order another one in the future I do hope it is better than the one I have recieved this time. If not then the phone cord will probably come in handy"
  Chris, (Edinburgh)

"Cancel that first You Tube link - it doesn't work - this is the one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4BHeOjgJqQ
The lip sync is out, but don't know what I did wrong. I'm a Chinese Kung Fu expet hah"
  Annie, (Gosport)

"This is a great idea, well worth £2.99
here's my video

  Scotty, (Hull)

"Very disappointed compared to others.

Inkjet paper, 4 AA batteries and a marshmallow kit which is 3 years past its best before date!"
  Ash, (York)

"Lawks a lordy.

Bigpockets pulled out all the stops.

I ordered, but missed out on stock by a matter of minutes. A nice email from a fellow advising of this and apologising, then, at the last minute before refund, an email from Cheryl saying that she would personally pack a bag o crap for me, and it didn't disapoint.

In fact, it necessitated the donning of my 3 year old's Optimus Prime helmet, and a review posted from the spare room complete with Barbie wallpaper.

Yes, it's on YouTube. Now view it, and make Bigpockets get more crap in asap. I have my child's future nest egg to waste on pointless gadgetat.

Bigpockets rule.

  Graham, (Southport)

"Won £150 approx with the grand national and 'comply or die' and spent on a bigpockets extravaganza which included six bags O crap. All six came in the 240 cd aluminium cases which was great. The contents were pretty bad though. Best I got in one box was an ipod shuffle with duff headphones. Other stuff a nightvision pair of binoculars (childs toy). The rest were scart leads, unknown cd cases etc. All were worth £3 because of the cases but apart from the ipod shuffle generally the contents weren't upto much. Probably the unluckiest person here. Maybe I'm exagerating a bit but by whats been printed here I got a pretty poor crop. Even the aigo portable mp3 player I ordered for a tenner was scratched to hell on the back of the case which means I can't give it away as a gift as intended. Frankly a rubbish purchase all round and I haven't got time to deal with sending stuff back (not the bag of crap contents obviously). So there you have it. I'm just jealous really as my bag of craps were borderline real crap compared to other people."
  Martin Wilson, (Yeovil)

"Umm, they must have been running out of crap when it was time to fill my box! I got
1) A VOIP phone
2) A single DVD case
3) A orange thing...
See Jack getting his 'goodies' here! He's 4 so he loved it all anyway....
(BTW the DVDs were bought as part of the order...)

  Steve K, (Worcester)

"I must say this was well worth the £2.99

I got the 240 cd case everyone seems to have been getting
1 512 flash drive
1 stack of 100 cdr
4 sets of earphones
1 beach ball lol

Worth £2.99? Hell yeah!!"
  Peter, (Newhaven)

"Brilliant bag of crap!

- The obligatory 240 capacity CD box
- Some rubbish headphones
- 4 batteries
- And a brilliant Aigo F209 1GB MP3/video player watch... Admittedly this had no leads, headphones or instructions, but can find most of this on the internet.

Will be back for my next BoC!!"
  Grant, (Beds)

"Absolutely brilliant crap from Bigpockets, as always. My boy was over the moon with his bag o'crap. He wanted to make a film, but was too shy to appear in it himself, so he got a couple of his friendly Dr Who toys to appear on his behalf.

You can view his film using the link below.

Dr Poo and the Bigpockets Bag O'Crap 2!

  Steve Adams, (Glasgow)

"Well if I'd got a camera in my first B.O.C. then you'd have see how delighted my daughter was when I opened my second load of junk!!! She now has a large aluminium case to hold her makeup in. and my youngest boy has his own thing with buttons to press..(voip phone) Hours of fun for just £2.99."
  Dom, (Rendlesham)

"I got:

- 4 broken DVD cases
- 2 of those in car charger things
- 1 24cd carry case
- the USB phone that everyone seemed to get!

All in all, not very useful - will have a play about with the USB phone, but nothing else is really very useful!"
  Carys, (Holywood)

"THANKS BIGPOCKETS!!!!!

I must have been one of the minority on this as i never got a 240 cd archive(wahey!!!),I got X7 clear dvd cases,X4 of the famous unknown car chargers,a cd wallet and last but not least a Mikomi M6217 webcam,Well worth £2.99 will definately be ordering again when they are back in stock."

"I was expecting a bag of crao thought it would help with the roses now that spring is here, alas all I gow was an 512MB Ipod Shuffle, 240 cd Aluminium disc holder, 2gb sd card, 3 aigo headphones and 2 cdwow inflatable beach balls, which are potentially could be great for putting down your trousers inflating and getting time off from work by pretending you've got mumps,
"
  Buck Flair, (Huntingdon)

"My first foray into the Bag of Crap stakes got me the following:
3 Clear DVD Cases
1 240 CD Box (Silver)
8 Pairs of headphones
3 CD-RW Discs
Not too bad, but keep torturing myself watching the vids of guys with IPods, MP3, USB Drives and the like!
Just ordered another so fingers crossed!"
  Jonboy, (Notts)

"Got 2 bag o craps 3 delivered this morning. The first one had 100 cd-r, 25 printable cd inserts and a datawrite 400 cd/dvd carrycase.

The second bag o crap had 4aa batteries a scart lead a voip phone and 100 cd-r of which the first 7 had already been burnt onto which is quite interesting.

All in all not too bad and better than the crap i got in BOC 2"
  Baldy, (Brighton)

"What a disappointment..Nuff Said
I thought I might have got one thing I could have used .. oh well ... will teach me to jump on any band wagon.. At a guess I would say the bags of crap are exactly that .. a marketing scam for publicity ... i doubt mine totalled the price of the postage never mind the price of the payment made"
  Carl, (Hull)

"Next bag (this time a box) review:

50 printable CD jewel case insert pack from Memorex
Spindle of 50 DVD-R's
2 Duracell ProCell D batteries (always handy)
and a 400 CD/DVD Datawrite carry case

That's got to be worth well over £3 of anyone's money.

And forgot from my last one: a pair of night vision binoculars."
  David Lane, (Dewsbury)

"Well my Box O' Crap 3 has just arrived, and yet again not a bad deal for supposed crap.

1 X Scart lead

4 X AA Batteries (my camera ones died yesterday, so perfect timimg)

"I received my box or crap today. Inside was a 400 CD/DVD carry case which is good because I always buy my blanks in cakes and never have anything to store them in. I also got 4 blank DVD cases to take my backup films over to my mates houses. The last thing I got was 4 AA batteries wich always come in handy for Wii/Xbox controllers. £3 well spent. Thanks BigPockets"
  Danny Kingaby, (Haywards Heath)

storage case for CD's/DVD's which hold's 400 discs (excellent)
25 DVD+r's (nice)

Thanks BP now i'm just waiting for my next BOC to come!"
  Craig A, (Dudley)

"I've lost count, was this BoC 3? Think it was.
Anyway, it was a box, started off with a big 400 pocket fabric CD storage case, a pack of 10 DVD-R's and a dead Philips MP3 Player (wonder how many of those there are?).
Can't complain at the value, the DVDs are £1.39 and the CD carry case is £3.95. In the package with the broken Philips player was a USB A to micro-B lead, which is useful too.
Part of the fun is the anticipation, waiting to see what arrives. OK - so some people get what they pay for, no room to complain if that happens - you were warned. It's like buying a lottery ticket, except BigPockets have more winners than losers it seems.
I'm running out of things to order, just so I can add another BoC! Darn - they're out of stock again..."
  Gordon, (Doncaster)

"Its Back, its not bad and...well, just watch the video Goddamnit LOL ;)

"
  Bob, (Scotland)

"I made my first ever order from BigPockets last week and after reading all the great reviews on the Bag o’ Crap I thought it was worth a punt and added 1 to my order.

When it turned up i found:
A 400 disc fabric CD/DVD storage case - which was pretty useful.
10 blank DVD-R's - again pretty useful
5 slim plastic DVD cases
and a Philips GoGear 2GB Mp3 player.

I excitedly plugged the Mp3 player into the mains charger (that was supplied), only to find it was dead - apart from a flashing white screen. :(

30 minutes later - with the help of a multimeter, a soldering iron and a tiny piece of wire, I had it up and running again.

So all in all it was well worth the £3 and i'll definitely be adding another 1 to my next order from BigPockets - if there are any in stock of course."
  Rob, (Kent)

"cor what a mess big pockets i ordered my 1st order and it was a bag of crap mk 3 and vhs recored with free p+p i paid with paypal th site sent me there and i paid but i dint get no email saying money took out or a email saying goods on the way im giveing it 1 star but i would give - 5 starts i emaild big pockets and they can not find th order or anything im sill waiting they dont even phone up come on im missing out with my bag off crap big pockets helppppppppppppp me : ' ("

  Annie Hylands, (Gosport)

"Bag of crap turned up today I got a 400 disc fabric cd wallet which will be useful for all my backup mp3 disks. 4 samsung aa batteries always useful 30 lose cdr's mainly ridisk aaa+ about 5 were scratched and smashed from being loose but put the others in a spindle and they'll do for watching divx on. Finally I got a large duracell battery which though kinda useless on its own probably served to bounce around and smash the loose cd's. All in all guys well worth the money. Thanks :)"
  amida, (cheshire)

"Well I bought 2 bags. The first one I got; a huge folder for DVDs, Discs and what not, some blank DVD's and some printable Disc inserts..sooo very happy with that. 2nd lot.. Mmm well :/ Batteries, which my daughter nicked off me as soon as I got them out of the box. Another case for CD's (which hubby pinched) and some broken CD cases. Will I be buying more?...hell yeah..I'm waiting for the back in stock email. What can I say, I'm addicted."
  K, (St Helens)

  Janet, (NE England)

"Well - I'm a bit slow on the uptake so I ended up paying full delivery, then missed the delivery so had to make a 35 mile round trip to pick it up - a BIIIG heavy box - with a 400cd wallet (good for all my, erm, backup cds), 100xBlank CD's (2 or 3 cracked but still ninety-odd useful disks) and a pack of cd inlays (will lie around my pc desk for the next decade before I end up doodling on them). Not too bad for the first bag o'crap I've ordered, but next time I'm getting it delivered to my work and I'm ordering something to knock out the postage cost!"
  Bave, (Blackpool)

"Amusment value short lived, but advertised it was a load of crap!
*400 cd soft carry case
* about 50 lose DVD R all scratched used instead of polystyrene
*pack of AA
*3 empty single cd cases.
and no packaging (thats the worst bit) just a box."
  David Thunder, (Camberley)

"GREAT I got
1xsoft cd case(hold 104 CD/DVD)
50xblank DVD discs

  Mrs. One-Eyed Jack, (Winslow, Buckinghamshire)

"Anyone who thinks this is a marketing scam is a grade A twit! I'm very pleased with my 'Bag', which turned out to be a box containing a 400 CD/DVD carry case, a pack of printable jewel case inserts and 2 x 10 packs of DVD-R, a brand I've never used before but which my fussy Panasonic DVD recorder seems to like with no problems! Therefore I've got far more than I was expecting to get for my money and have no reservation in recommending the Bag O'Crap to anyone else - when they come back on sale in May I'll be back for another!"
  Martin, (Kendal, Cumbria)

"My problem with the bag of crap is the way it is packed. 1 piece of brown tape accross the top. The 1st box i recieved was open as was the second so ive no idea if anything went missing as theres no invoice. Fair play to Big Pockets as they did replace the 1st box as all that was in it was one dvd case and some earphones. I personally think that it's City link that are light fingered. i have reported this to Big Pockets and City Link who are looking into it. Please Please Please can the packers at Big Pockets use a little common Sence and secure the boxes Thankyou"
  Mark Klein, (Carlisle)

"Now that the price has gone up by a pound will our crap be worth more?
BOC1 was great,BOC2 was as described - crap - so looking forward to BOC3 which I have just ordered."
  Emma, (Livingston)

"I was happy with my 1st 2 i had so i;ve just gone for another :D"
  Jayne, (Bridgend)

"Just got mine having ordered it 2 days ago. I got a targus travel mouse set - nice, a phone book and SMS sim card save - is it really 1998? - and two AA size USB rechargable batteries, which just plug in and charge from any USB source - weird, but could be useful.

All in all I got way more than I paid for, and it's a bit of fun so all good.

P.S. Buy something from Offers ==> free delivery, and get your bag of crapo delivered free :)"
  Geoff, (Worthing)

""
  Chris, (Derbyshire)

"Well - I would have liked a DSLR camera or a laptop or something really expensive ... but , BUT
I got :
2x USB rechargeable AA batteries ;
Twin optical mouse pack and
512MB Mp3 player

as I was going to buy 2 of the 3 items anyway I'm very happy and they were all new & sealed so worth considerably more than the £3.99 they cost .
I'll certainly be back for another bag of crap !"
  Jonathan, (Redcar)

"very pleased with my boc think i will order another one,i got a targus mouse set, phonebook and sms saver and a mp3 player."
  Julie, (West Lothian)

"This is just great fun, was giddy with anticipation as to what I would get!

I got:
1 x Maxell Webcam - nice looking unit with laptop clamp
1 x 2 AA USB Rechargeable batteries (I've wanted to try these for ages)
1 x AIGO 512mb MP3 player

Not bad at all."
  Gizmo, (North Berwick)

"I Got the same as Gizmo, (North Berwick"
  Matt, (Lincoln)

"I was very pleased when I received BOC2, but this time around I am very disappointed because none of the stuff works as it is meant to. I got the same as Gizmo above but...

1 x Maxell Webcam - nice looking unit with laptop clamp (- but mine powers down after a few seconds and won't come on again. Broken.)

1 x 2 AA USB Rechargeable batteries (I've wanted to try these for ages) - (I tried them and the tops came off when I went to pull them out of my USB port. Broken.)

1 x AIGO 512mb MP3 player (- mine is a 2GB version, but was second hand and the MP3 player doesn't work. Could still be used as a memory stick I suppose but not fit for original purpose, presumably why the original owner returned it. It even had his mobile number in it in a file stored on the memory!! Broken.)

I know it's a 'Bag Of Crap', but I didn't pay for a bag of BROKEN crap. I would have been very happy with my lot if the items worked or were fit for purpose.
"
  Adam, (Colchester)

"My Bags of Crap were just full of CRAP. Real CRAP.

Nice business idea though...get mugd to apy you to take away your rubbish.

2 BROKEN Aigo 2GB MP3. Boxes marked as 'not working' and yep, they don't work. Thanks.

2 USB rechargeable AA batteries. OK...these might be OK!

4 DVD cases"
  Iain, (Carlisle)

"this was my first bag o crap and I got

Bigpockets Comments: Sorry Simon we cant let you leave your personal Details on the website so they have been edited out. Oli
  Simon, (Newcastle)

"BoC 4 for me.
This time had 2 USB batteries, which covers the £3.99 cost. I've seen these at £5.99 or more.
Aigo 2Gb MP3 player, like everyone else - it don't work as MP3 player, but does work as 2Gb memory stick so not totally useless.
Has some earphones with it - can no doubt use them, a lanyard - also useable, just broke one, small USB extender lead A-A, handy to have.
One man's poison is another man's meat - same goes for this stuff, may be crap to some but it you look closer it can be quite meaty.
Oh - and 4 black DVD cases, have alternated them on a shelf with the white ones we got in BoC 2 - look pretty, even if we're not using them.
I'd included this in a bigger order with a free shipping item, which is the tip to anyone just looking to buy this item.
Still got a BoC to come next week, maybe it will have different contents...
To those who just want to moan - did you read the info about what you were buying? It's a gimmick, if BP can shift over 2000 in less than 2 days then they're doing something right!
(but did notice it went up a quid)"
  Gordon, (Doncaster)

"Just got mine.

1 x VERY much second hand Aigo 512 mb Mp3 player, complete with previous owner's music and a faint smell of either manure or tobacco.

1 x Masterplug outdoor plug protector, should be useful sometime.

4 x DVD cases including 1 which is double size for 9 DVDs. Definitely useful.

Overall a good experience."
  John, (Glasgow)

"This is our third bag o'crap, all have had stuff in which we wouldn't normally buy, but which have in fact come in handy since!

Is it true people are getting Apple laptops/sat navs/leather massage chairs though??

We got a 512mb mp3 player, sim card reader, and 2 usb batteries this time!

(Just a shame it all comes to so much after postage - and I noticed that the mp3 player was only 99p last weekend - which I was going to buy at the same time, so I'm glad I didn't end up with 2!)"
  KC, (Glasgow)

"Got my 3rd and 4th BoC and yet again were a great bargain.

Today i got:

1 X single dvd case
1 x fabric 50 dvd case (Sold for £2.00)
2 X 512mb Aigo Mp3 players
4 X usb AA batteries (been looking at these for ages, but being unsure about them never wanted to pay the tenner charge)

all in all a great deal, thanks BP!"
  Graham, (Essex)

"Not so hot this time (number 2).

1. Used 512MB MP3 player reeking of smoke - straight in bin
2. orange plastic housing for plug/socket (to protect electrical connection outside) - might be vaguely useful I suppose
3. 6.5 LCD Photoframe with no power supply so useless.

Bigpockets, please dont spoil the good name of Fukubukuro, this is not Fukubukuro it is you guys getting paid to dump customer faulty returns which otherwise you would have had to dispose of in an environmentally friendly way due to EU regulations.

Still might buy a 3rd one though in the vain hope of getting something usefull..."
  Pete, (Edinburgh)

"1 X Aigo 512MB MP3 Player
1 Packet USB AA Batteries
4 X AA Batteries
6 X DVD Cases

That will do nicely. Thank you BP"
  Joe, (Scotland)

"hi all got my 1st bag of crap its a shame they messed up my order from the 2nd bag of crap as i lost out on that. : (
anyway this one i got a brand new packet of usb battery chager, 1 empty dvd case, pack of 10 - dvdr and a aigo 512mb mp3 player looks like brand new sill has seal on front of screen."
  martin, (croydon surrey)

"Pretty much the same aigo MP3player 512 mb 2 AA usb batteries & 5 dvd plain cases.

I enjoyed the anticipation more than the actual opening of the parcel . I'm sure I will buy another if avail again just for the fun of it.
"
  Daz, (London)

"Here we go, BoC number 5 just arrived.
Big orange plastic outdoor mains plug/socket protector thingy, coud come in handy at some point.
A pack of 4x AA batteries.
A SIM/SMS saver gadget
And finally, 24 small 85x85mm PVC sleeves. I had to cut the DVD's down to make them fit.
Nice to note it was all different crap to the crap we had last week.
I've a feeling the novelty is wearing off. Trying to repeat a great marketing ploy has not quite worked for me this time. You pays for what you get and although the value is more than the £4 paid, it's not made me go wow! like it did originally."
  Gordon, (Doncaster)

"I think this marketing idea for BP is absolutely genious!!

in a sense they asking you to buy something else aswell though to obtain free delivery, - and lets face it free delivery items on BP, are either very expensive or cheap crappy items that you dont really want, but buy anyway to get yourself free delivery!

I dont give 5 stars for the bag of crap, but for the genius idea to get custom to your site!!

Personally I wouldnt waste my money, they earn a fortune on your £3.99 buys.. plus additional items you purchase, and then one lucky person gets what £50? or £200!! what a load of blx, "
  Sam, (York)

"Pretty decent once again, but loses a star as I didn't get a Laptop like the lucky reviewer up above ;-<

Pack of AA USB Batteries - Well handy for my Digital Camera that eats Duracells.

A brand new Aigo 512MB MP3 Player

And finally the twin Mouse pack thing.

Decent value for money again what with free delivery on my Taiyo Yudens.

"
  Captain Jack, (Whitstable)

"first bag of crap had inside big box
1 (5) DC car adaptors
2 (1) 24 CD wallet
3 (1)Homemix DJ System
so well worth £2.99

second bag of crap a bit poorer only had 3 items
1 Aigo 512mb MP3
2 2 Packs AA batteries
3 pack of glossy paper so not to bad may try for a third "
  Colin, (LIVINGSTON)

"Only three stars as like so many with the latest round of BoC I recieved a used faulty 512mb mp3 player.
This has sadly tainted my view of the offer.
While I was happy to recieve crap I at least expected it to be useable as stocking fillers at the very least.
Please don't taint what was a truely original and fun idea by repeating this shameless disposal of faulty goods again."
  Dave, (Bridgend)

"Ok my bag o crap was just that lol. 2 packs of aa batteries, a sim card copier, 50 clear 8cm cd cases ( dont know what to do with them, and an out door plug cover ( dont know what to do with that either) lol. think bag o cap has been copied "
  adam, (warrington)

"Very Dissapointed!

I just bought two boxes from the latest batch (previously bought 3 and was really happy)

Box1
1 x 512mb Aigo Mp3 player
1 x USB Batteries
1 x Sim copier

Box 1 - good value

Box2
1 x 512mb Aigo Player (USED, broken and the earphones still had someones goddamn wax on them !)
1 x USB Batteries
1 x Webcam

I realise the boxes of crap can be crap, but please don't send me second with someone's earwax on them!

I only hope this was an exception"
  John, (London)

"Why aren't you guys selling the T-Shirt 'I Brought A Bag Of Crap, From Big Pockets' or something along those lines..."
  Phil J, (Walsall)

"Superb I got a brand new 4 gig mp3 player(no labels so can't tell you the brand but works great), the now well and truly obligatory car charger from what I have read and a couple of DVD Rams."
  Ian S, (Nottingham)

"Never won anything before in my life but this is great. I mean a 2 gig pen drive, a webcam and a 10 pack of dvd-rw is nowhere near crap in my book. Thanks Bigpockets keep up the good work"
  Susan T, (Blackpool)

"Ok though I did get the manual for an aigo mp3 player that wasn't there the 512mb SD Card, TV Tuner(driver and manual missing but got those from the net) and audio cable certainly made up for it. Excellent fun Big Pockets"
  Jon R, (Newton Abbey)

"I see that big pockets are being selective with the feed back. hence my last one was not posted.

My problems was the fact that big pockets are sealing the boxes with one piece of tape when they know things are going missing in transit, I have had 3 bags of crap. 1st one was open (1 dvd case and a pack of batterys. replacement one was also open (1 dvd 400 case) and guess what, the 3rd one was also open. although this time i did get 2 dvd boxes (1 shattered)Value 10p 1 pack of batteries value £1 and 1 pack of 10 DVDr'S Value £1 so thats a total of £2.10p for £3.99 + postage Bargin NOT When will big pockets listen to there customers and seal the boxes correctly. the email excuse i got back for this was they are sent from another part of the country. message to big poackets email phone calls royal mail these are ways to tell your other branch what is happening. well this will not be posted on the site as big pockets know it is there error. Mark"
  Mark, (Carlisle)

"Finally decided to try one of these and got:

"Mine arrived yesterday. I got a pile of dvd cases, a floppy drive and wait for it a pack of candles.... but at the bottom of the box tucked away in a corner was an ipod nano!!!
I am delighted. TBH opening the box was worth paying 3 quid :) never mind the Nano! Thank you Bigpockets...

"BOC 1 = Good
BOC 2 = Good
BOC 3 = Great!
BOC 4 (today) = Disapointed
1 x Aigo A208 MP3 player (got one last time)
10 x half hight double cd/dvd cases, useful but not great.
1 x Very old Kettle extenstion lead, gone straigh in the bin! "
  Chris, (Oxfordshire)

"I got like 45 dvd cases(have no use)

25 recordable dvds, so overall not very happy with this one."
  An, (London)

"Another 512MB Aigo MP3 player.
14 DVD cases (each holds 4 DVDs)
A mains extension cord suitable for a PC. Or a kettle, if you'd like a nice cup of tea.
And a pair of stubby, tapered candles in a pair of stubby, tapered candle holders that I don't think are real silver.

Candles???!"
  Guy, (Shropshire)

"Mine arrived in the post today. Really excited, opened it up to find
1 pack of 4 AAA batteries
A few slimline DVD/CD cases
A few normal DVD/CD cases
1 cap
1 Disc holder(holds 8 discs)
1 Aigo 2GB MP3 I was well excited at this point but opened it to find that it was 2ND HAND, complete with BROKEN earphones, SCRATCHED screen and buttons, and SAND inside it which was quite weird. It also had the previous owners songs still on it. What's that you say, can't complain at only £3.99, well when postage and packaging cost £5.99 bringing the price up to a whopping £9.98 it doesn't quite paint the same picture. Of course there is always the option of buying an overpriced free delivery item. Saying that I would probably go and purchase another one, however, I still think that sending stuff that is 2nd hand is quite underhanded and doesn't quite fit the items description."
  Rahul, (Leicester)

""
  Ray Marshall, (Sunny Bedford)

"My BOC contained:
22x Slim DVD cases
1x Nero Express 7 Software
1x Aigo 512mb MP3 player

Not bad for £3.99, though the postage makes it less of a deal. Would buy again if i was ordering something else at the same time!"
  Ben Guarino, (London)

"Got my BOC today and in it was:-
Weather Resistant Plug Shelter £1.30
USB Battery £6.99
SMS phonebook & message saver £5
3 DVD Cases"
  Claire, (Bradford)

"Reading some of the above comments how can people possibly moan at buying crap? You get what you pay for (crap, second hand, faulty, whatever!) And in my opinion and personal experience of buying a "bag`o`crap" most of the time you get items with more of a value than the price you have paid. So why moan???? This page started out as a fun read but recently it is quickly being wasted by "moany folks" who cant deal with the fact that for their £2.99-£3.99 they havent got a laptop, sat nav or a leather recliner etc etc,
Rant over,
Lets keep this review fun!!!

Anyways last bag o crap i bought contained

1 large 400 cd/dvd archive case,

50 dvd+r`s,

6 x white dvd cases,

4 x samsung heavy duty batteries,

Excellent value for money and whoever thought up this idea, I`d like to shake their hand,

Well done bigpockets!"
  kim sirrell, (wishaw, north lanarkshire)

"I was all excited when I ordered my box of crap, however it actually was a box of CRAP.

I got around 20 empty cd/dvd cases (which i have no use for)
1 x keyring
2 x 9v dented batteries that dont work!

I wasn't expecting much (for instance last time most people seemed to get batteries or usb batteries or blank cds or something), but this really is taking the ****! £10 for this was definitely not worth it and i will not be buying one again, its not worth the risk!

I think their time has passed and all the good crap has no gone, hence they offloading all the crap crap!"
  Emma, (Loughborough)

"Received our Bag o'Crap today.
Ordered as I was buying some ink from you anyway so thought I would take a gamble.
Received:
Official H**** keyring (nothing special and have enough keyrings)

Pack of 2 Samsung LR14/1.5v batteries (will be ok for kids games)

10 new empty dvd cases (will be ok for little uns dvd's)

11/120 DVD-r's (needed some new DVD's so this was worth the money alone)

This is our first bag o crap and although we can use the disks and batteries it wasn't as exciting as some that people have received in the past.

Would I buy another one? Probably but only if I am buying something else to justify the £6 delivery cost.

"
  Sharon, (Staffordshire)

"just read the review from some nutter who is moaning because he got a second hand mp3 player. Get a life!! you bought a bag of crap FFS what do you expect. I got a pile of dvd cases
a 512mb aigo mp3 player and

  Amelia, (oxford)

  Dom, (Ipswich)

"My first bag o crap had the obligatory 512 mp3 player (new) lots of AA batteries and lots of these little plastic pocket things that I'll find a use for.

My second is still puzzling me and I need your help here please! I got the 512 mp3 player again, fab, a 1gb pink (very pleased with) mp3 player, 25 bank dvd's, good, and 23 little white boxes containing what look like speakers or buzzers, I took one apart and they are defo sound producers of some sort with a + and - metal connection on each side, but what on earth are they, someone please tell me!!!"
  Rachel, (Wirral)

"got a medion satnav :) (on the bigpockets site for £40.00.) the one i got had been well used but was working.got some aa batteries and a keyring as well. overall quite impressed will be buying again."

"I bought the first Bag'o'Crap out of curiosity (having watched the video's of others. The contents were very handy, so I thought 'get another', so I did. Ithought that one was full of items that came in handy, so I got another, now my neighbour and my son has joined in since they saw the stuff I received and are eager to receive their first. I look forward to the next one: bet the carrier driver joins in too as he wondered why I was so keen to take a look in the box when it arrived and he thought it was a bargain!
It's like xmas morning wondering what you have in the parcel!
They are certainly worth well over what you ask for them. Love 'em, keep it up!!!"
  Pam, (Barnsley)

"Please drop the price back to £2.99. I've also noticed it's took a longer time to sell out the Bank Holiday one!!!"
  Mark'O', (Cannock)

"Ordered my first BOC last week, and it arrived this morning (along with my dvd's I'd ordered, making the postage liveable).

Upon opening the box, I found the following....

25 Infiniti cd-r's (mp3 cd's for the car)
8x black dvd cases (might come in handy)
Kettle extension lead (again, might come in handy)
A random rgb type cable that I didnt have a clue what it was for. Turns out its a ps2 cable, so have given that to a guy at work (for free :))

Very happy with this lot, so cant wait for the next one. Thanks Big Pockets, my monday is complete :) (more good things in my next one please). Top quality idea."
  Ray Marshall, (Kempston, Bedford)

4 x USB Batteries
8 x AA Batteries "
  Phil R, (Bournemouth)

"Well, this is my 5th Bag of Crap, i only reviewed the first, as all have been pretty much the norm that others have got. Not great, but always worth the money.

However, this one had :

"I really didn't know whether to buy this or not, but after a little goading from the guys in the office I decided to go ahead and do it and I'm glad I did. Ordered yesterday and arrived first thing this morning, excellent start BP.

And in the Bag O' Crap (which was more box shaped and make of card not paper) I got

Several dvd/cd cases (a few of them broken but the others will be used)
3 packs of 6 x 4 glossy photo paper (perfect for my new photo printer I recently bought)
A pack of 2 USB AA batteries (which I always wanted but couldn't justify paying £14 for)
A 2Gb Aigo mp3 player (this had a 'damaged' sticker on it stating 'won't turn on' but not wanting to be defeated I put one of my usb batteries in it and it switched straight on no problems, I guess the technology of having to insert a battery into it baffeled the guys at BP.

All in all it was a great bargain at only £1.99, I just wish they hadn't sold out already."
  Westwood, (Northampton)

"Well my first BOC, and a £1.99 one at that!

  nick Kurkov, (Worthing)

"This is my 4th BOC and it was the best yet...

I received an email saying it was back in stock and it just so happened that I needed a DVD RW for a client so decided to get the lot from Big Pockets.

City Link then faffed about with delivery, then once they finally did deliver the boxes were properly battered. In the end, the DVD drive I bought didn't work thanks to the bashing City Link put it through so I had to buy the drive elsewhere with Saturday delivery to have in time for client. All very costly, however, my BOC kinda made up for it.

100 Titanium DVDr in cake tub (cake tub broken thanks to delivery, but disks are fine)

40 assorted jewel cases

8 AA batteries (needed as kids killed Wii batteries over the weekend)

100 sheets of photo matte printer paper

and about 200 little plastic sleeves. not entirely sure what they are for, but I think they are the sleeves for event passes that you wear around your neck with a lanyard. At least they are the same size and work with my Internet World badge.

All said in done, I paid WAY more than I anticipated thanks to delivery and re-ordering a part but the BOC will probably bring me back to order again."
  Andrew Thomas, (London)

"To go with my Belkin iPod TuneSync and 2 x wooden cd/dvd racks, I added my first B.O.C, and I feel like a kid let loose in an old fashioned sweet shop!

For the price (currently £1.99) BigPockets.co.uk certainly have spoiled me rotten.

I received:
1 x 512MB MP3 player
9 x Floppy discs
1 x branded ear plugs
1 x pouch (possibly for phone or mp3 player)
1 pk 10 dvd-rw (digi-cam type)
1 spindle 50 dvd-r
1 x sketch pad (how did you know I'd run out?)
10 x cd/dvd cases (hold 5 cds/dvds each)

Thanks Bigpockets, you guys are amazing. word of mouth is already spreading :)"
  Sue, (Glasgow)

"Well this is my 3rd Bag O' Crap and for £1.99 I am very suprised.

  Andy, (Stafford)

"Fairly decent batch this recent BOC was:-

A spindle of DVD-Rs - Useful
Aigo 512Mb mp3 player - Not very useful but can use as a present.
Some slimline DVD cases - Useful
SOme rather nice looking PC speakers - Look nice on my desk
A BARHonda Flag"
  Andy, (Horsham)

"This is our 4th bag o crap, and it has to be said that it wasn't half as good as the others.

Not sure if it was due to the lack of packaging (no bubble wrap/shredded paper as per the last 3 - items were just left loose in the box) or due to City Link, but the box was dirty and dusty on the inside and outside and even had a weird smell.

Inside was a small pack of photo paper, a pack of rechargeable AAA batteries, a pack of normal AA batteries. Also included in the box was: a random cable, no idea what it's used for, loads of blank CDs (could be DVDs - I've no idea) all loose in the box, scratched, dirty, fallen all over the place (again, either due to lack of packaging in the box or to City Link's service?) - there was packagaing for the CDs, so I've no idea how they broke free from that, unless they were put in the box broken like that in the first place! Also a bundle of empty CD cases, again, dirty, dusty, and many were smashed/cracked.

Whilst it was worth the £1.99 for the photo paper/batteries, the delivery cost is no where near worth it - adding another 5/6 pounds on to the cost and to have the item arrive as it did!"
  KC, (Glasgow)

"I sent off for this & got 100 blank CD's, an MP3 player (4GB), 2 packs of batteries, candle set, 8 DVD cases & a belt holder for the MP3 player. All in all it was worth it.

Here is the link to Youtube & my video on me opening the Bag O' Crap.

Enjoy!

"I saw the bagocrap on youtube after purchasing items from Bigpockets. Well I just had to give it a go and I am hooked? I told a few of my friends and family - mentioning Bigpockets.co.uk of course, and now they have joined in and we all compare our latest crap and agree its fair dos!
I look forward to the next lot. The majority so far has really come in handy and been exactly what I needed in a couple of instances!
I recommend this site to anyone who has a pc for the bargains (and mention BagoCrap @ Bigpockets.co.uk).
Well worth the money and more!"
  Pam, (Barnsley)

"I have to say, this is the first time Ive ever paid for something that I had no idea of what I would get for my money.

It excited the hell out of me if Im honest, I felt like a big kid!

So, judgement day, the package arrived, and it was a farely large box. Upon opening said farely large box, I was greeted by a grey & blue CD wallet which felt rather heavy, so I put that to the side. Around the CD Wallet, there were lots and lots of DVD slimline cases and jewel CD cases! Can go wrong with those, they
e always needed!

Now, under said DVD and CD cases was another box, thats right, a box inside a box! This couldn get much more exciting!

Until...I opened the second box, to reveal...a leaf sculpture made out of one piece of charcoal?!?! Ill admit, I felt a little disheartened, but then realised just how cool a piece of art it actually was!

So, after wiping the charcoal off of my hands, I proceeded to check the box for any other goodies, and low-and-behold, a 1gb MP3 player! This was great, I was going to purchase one of these to listen to my music on the train on the way to work, bigpockets, you read my mind!

Now, back to the CD Wallet, the weight had me curious, so I had to open it, fumbling at the zipper like a teenage girl on her first date, I managed to prize it open to reveal more goodies! Thats right folks, bigpockets hadn disappointed, theyd included 19 Printable DVD-Rs to fill those empty cases with.

So to recap, the contents of my bag o crap was:

1 x Grey and Blue 24 Disc CD Wallet
25+ x Slimline DVD Cases
15+ x Jewel CD Cases
1 x 1GB MP3 Player
1 x Trendy Charcoal Leaf Sculpture

Thank you bigpockets, I now have a jealous partner who won stop nagging me for a bag o crap, please hurry up and get them back in stock! I want another as well hehe."
  Paul Elliott-Streat, (Eastbourne)

"Just recieved last bag of crap (no 6)...Laptop bag

"Hi Guys,
Ive been reading some of the negative reviews on the BOC &, having bought 7 bags over the last few months, I can assure you its no rip-off.
All the BOCs Im had have been worth at least 4 times what I paid.
Ive had some experience in buying bankrupt & liquidated stock & an auction lot will, for instance, contain 200 widescreen tvs and a box of odds & sods.
Its the odds & sods which end up in the BOC.
The liquidators dispose of it by including it in the auction & save the cost of dumping it.
BigPockets pass it on to us in this way because its not worth the admin costs of listing it on the website, and it would cost them to dump it.
So, they make a few quid on it and give us some great bargains.
Sure, its a lucky dip - But not knowing what you
e getting is what makes it interesting.
A lot of the goodies Ive had in my BOC Ive kept, but those I didn want I sold to the local second hand shop for a darned site more than I paid for them."
  Andy B, (Falmouth)

Worst BOC ever....I got 2 Maxell Ipod Voice Recorders for years ago (pretty much obsolite).... and thats all i got. £10.98 for 2 poundshop items ha!

The actual Bag was sealed and un damaged but once opened it was obvious that the original bag had been damaged/tampered with and theyve thrown it into another bag and stuck another label on!? Where do i stand in this situation? It wasnt signed for as damaged, it wasnt even signed for by me unfortunately but i still inspected it and it looked fine from the outside, it was only once it was opened it was obvious. "
