Battery life varies laptop to laptop. We can't guarantee a specific time other than it will hold a charge.

Bigpockets Answer: This is a small/compact laptop with a 12" screen. It does not have an optical drive i.e. no CD/DVD ROM is present - there isn't room for one given is slim proportions.
If you need one, you can simply use an external CD or DVD writer plugged in via USB.

If you use an external cd/dvd drive you can boot from it.
It is a Toshiba Portege R200 Laptop and the hard drive and memory can both be upgraded. At least 2gb of ram and 120gb hard drive can be used.
